Welcome to Timerssports
Last week recap: Daytona wasn't so kind to my fantasy team. Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Greg Biffle were busts. But Dale Jr and Danica salvaged my day in Yahoo. Ended with a 194. Luckily Daytona was a good track to score poorly. Plus I didn't waste any starts.
Look Ahead: We are at New Hampshire this weekend. Selecting a good team can be a challenge. Track position is absolutely important this week. The guys that can keep track position all day long. Teams will be trying strategies all day long. So selecting all studs could be a bit risky. Below represents my picks:
*This post will be updated throughout the week
Yahoo:
A-
24) Jeff Gordon
4) Kevin Harvick
Logic: Johnson is temping , but I plan to use him at Dover , Martinsville, Charlotte and Indy with my remaining starts. Gordon was extremely fast at his test session awhile back. Harvick CC's won this race last year with Vickers. Kyle Busch is my dark horse. He finish 2nd (twice) in 2013.
B-
2) Brad Keselowski
31) Ryan Newman
22) Joey Logano
11) Denny Hamlin
Logic: Keselowski clearly in for Q-pts. I plan to save him for 1.5 milers. Same goes with Logano. But with 5 starts left , I am willingly to pull the trigger. Hoping to use Newman here. He knows how get around here very well. Hamlin definitely will be a popular pick. So leaving him off could be risky.
C-
66) Jeff Burton
3) Austin Dillon
Logic: Burton is a easy lock for me. He a nice value this week. Dillon get the secondary slot , mainly because I don't want to be tempered to use Larson.
