2014 Recap: Definitely wasn't a good year for Kahne. He only scored 3 Top 5s in 36 races. And 11 Top 10s. This is coming from a guy in major equipment too. I had someone tweet me earlier this year saying , "bad luck was why he was performancing so poorly." His average running position in 2014 was 15.0 which suggests: he consistency ran outside the top 10 all year long. Cannot expect to win a lot when you are not even competitively running in the top 12.
Strong tracks: Charlotte , Indianapolis and Kentucky.
Weak tracks: Watkins Glenn , Dover and Daytona.
Extra info on Kasey Kahne: I believe Kahne will be significantly helped by the 2015 package. Especially the less downforce part. Hopefully he become more consistent in finishes. Otherwise Kahne is again useless in '15. Keep a eye on him early in the season as his value potentially be the lowest.

2015 Fantasy Outlook: I am higher on him then most. I believe Kahne could have a fantastic bounce back year. As anyone in HMS level equipment will have that sort of potential. In the end , it comes down to consistency. Something Kahne never have figured out other then in 2006 & 2012. Also the only two seasons , Kahne was a true championship threat. I expect 1-3 wins , 7-12 Top 5s , 17-19 Top 10s , and 24 Top 20s in 2015.
