Welcome to TimersSports
We will turn our attention to Texas after a drama filled Martinsville race! Personally I think this is refreshing after the past few weeks. Nothing like a intermediate racetrack to put the boring back into Nascar, right? Yeah I doubt Sunday's race will be boring by any means, but it would be a nice change of pace for us fantasy people, don't you think? So how do you attack picks at Texas? Good question! Personally I like going with a combo of value picks and studs. I think the chase drivers will dominate this race, however I see several drivers under the radar that could be solid fantasy plays if everything go according to plan.
Here's today Picks!
Yahoo -
A:
Start - Joey Logano
Bench - Kevin Harvick
Reasons -I think it will be very close between these drivers. So I am going with the drivers who I think will be in less fantasy lineups and will try to win more. I think that driver will be Joey Logano. I believe he is in a win or go home situation this week. That 22 car should be tough to beat after it get to the lead.
B:
Start - Carl Edwards and Kasey Kahne
Bench - Martin Truex Jr, Jamie Mac
Reasons -Tough decisions this week with very little practice. So I am going with the drivers that start closer to the front. Edwards and Kahne will start from 13th and 16th. Also I trust both of them a little more to deliver a quality finish. Truex Jr would be my ideal fantasy pick, if he didn't start mid-pack. I only have one start left with Jamie Mac and I plan to use it next week.
C:
Start - Ryan Blaney
Bench - Brian Scott
Reasons - I have one start left with Ryan Blaney and I plan to use it here at Texas! I don't see any reason to save him for another week personally. Because only other race he entered in is Homestead. With Ty Dillon entered in that race, I see no reason to save him for then.
Fantasy Live -4,22,78,35 and 17
Sleeper -Austin Dillon
Winner - Joey Logano
