RaceDay Thoughts -
Jeff Nathans (@JeffNathans18):
- Kevin Harvick and the Fords look strong this weekend. 4 of them qualified inside the top 5. Harvick, Logano and Keselowski all look to be potential top 5 drivers heading into today's race
- The HMS haven't really made much noise this weekend (outside of Elliott), but I think they will be just fine for today's race though. I think the 48 will be a player before it is all over. 5 and 88 will be close to top 10 guys.
-Ryan Newman looks awful good on Friday and Saturday. I haven't seen this kind of speed in quite awhile
-Lap times fall off quickly at this place, so don't be shocked to see a lot of comers and goers. In the end, I do expect the best drivers to be at the front regardless
Garry Briggs (@Garryy12):
- Ricky Stenhouse Jr looks good this weekend. He's qualified 4th and had 4th-best ten lap average in final practice. At end of final practice, he added that ''I think she is pretty sporty''
- AJ Dinger should be a fine sleeper this weekend. He ran extremely well on the 1.5 mile tracks in 2016 and been good this weekend.
- Michael McDowell is another good sleeper to consider. He is starting 36th but should be able to move to around 25th or maybe more.
-I like the CGR cars more than I did before the weekend started
Yahoo -
Jeff's lineup - 4,1,31,77
Garry's lineup - 48,17,31,13

Jeff's Pick - AJ Dinger
Garry's Pick - Ricky Stenhouse Jr

Jeff's Pick - Kevin Harvick
Garry's Pick - Joey Logano
