Austin Dillon: Dillon was one of my favorite fantasy sleepers before qualifying on Thursday and he made me feel even better afterwards. He qualified 14th and looked very good in every practice session. He have speed in the #3 car and was stronger than I expected on the long run. I thought he had one of the better races on the longer runs. Remember Dillon have never finished worse than 16th at Charlotte in three career starts. I could see him sneaking in the top 10 before tonight's race is over, but I think it more realistic to say he is a top 15 driver though. You can count on Austin Dillon to be a solid fantasy in your lineup in most fantasy formats!
Aric Almirola: Almirola like Dillon was also made my original post back on Wednesday, so no surprise he lands back on it again. Almirola showed speed since unloading and will from the 9th starting position. He might not contain that position, but he easily a top 15 driver after watching practice. More encouragingly, he been one of the best sleepers over the past several weeks. More noticeable he have 3 top 10 finishes in his past 4 races including a pair of top 5 finishes dating back to Richmond. It would not be crazy to say he makes it 4 out of 5.
Casey Mears: Mears have been pretty good all weekend and will start from 21st. They practiced pretty well. He won't blow anyone away during the race, however Mears sounded pretty happy about his car after final practice. For good reason too as he posted the 9th quickest lap in final practice. He posted the 18th quickest lap in the 2nd practice. Would not be the first time that Mears have ran respectably at Charlotte. I don't expect anything beyond a possible top 20 run, even though I think it more realistic to think he is more of a top 25 fantasy option!
