Fantasy Nascar Raceday Thoughts

Welcome to Timerssports

If you haven't figured it out already , our scheduling of our regular content have changed. Due to the unpredictable nature of plate racing. So instead of analysing practice , we will just give our thoughts and opinions. Hopefully this help your confident with picks/selection. Happy 4th July weekend. Lets get started!

10 Random Thoughts:

- Dale Jr 58% in Yahoo makes him one of the most safest options. Even though , no one is a sure thing. His large safety net bring room for a bit error.

- Jamie Mac is boom or bust. JMac have a ton of upside. But his terrible luck , also leaves ton of doubt on the table.

- Part time drivers are bad news. I don't like part time drivers at plate races. They don't care about points nor their equipment (like a full time driver would). Example : Waltrip , Bayne.

- The Roush cars can be found at a great value this week. After a few up and down weeks , Stenhouse and the Biff are extremely valuable (more then most times we come here).

- Penske cars could be terrific value in leagues which offers points for place differential. They both start outside the top 25.

- Kyle Busch may be one of the hidden gems this weekend. Kyle will be a nice play in leagues which rewards drivers for fast laps and place differential (example - Fantasy Live).

- The Top four cars on starting grid typically start outside top 30. Which makes me a bit nervous for the opening laps.

- Saturday night winner just might come out of nowhere. I expect the big names to dominate. But anything and everything may and probably will happen on Saturday.

- Ricky Stenhouse Jr could make or break fantasy lineups this week. 13% In yahoo selected Stenhouse this week. Which means anyone who starts him gonna like a complete idiot or genius.

Yahoo Lineup-

A- Dale Jr

B- Greg Biffle

B - Ricky Stenhouse Jr

C - Danica Patrick

Fantasy Live:

Kyle Busch , Dale Jr , Brad Keselowski , Michael McDowell , and Michael Waltrip

Jeff Nathans
